Sick of Being Sick

We have been sick since December 29th. I am sick of being sick!!!! J.J. and I had Strep Throat at the end of December, then Cate was sick with the flu and an ear infection for 10 days, and then J.J. was sick with the flu and cold for a week, followed by me getting the flu and a horrible sinus infection which has lasted for the past two weeks, and now J.J. is sick again with a fever and a cough!!! I am going to scream. I am sick of the doctor's (About 5 visits in the last 3 weeks). I am sick of the inside of my house. I am sick of not being able to run (I thought I would never say that). Please, please, please, can we get better! Luckily for Trevor, he has avoided all of this sickness. What a way to start the new year.

Bad Hair Day

Cate just woke up from her nap, and when I walked into her room to get her this is what I saw. Some crazy hair. So cute! I wish it were cute for me to have a bad hair day. So, of course we took pictures. Sorry about the pictures. I was playing with the white balance.

I love the look she has on her face here. It shows her personality. She is such a tease and so playful.

All Better. Such a cutie.

Thoughts

It seems like when I get a chance to sit down and blog, i have a million things in my head and it is hard for me to concentrate and figure out what I want to write about. Yesterday started out great. I was able to go on a Photography expedition and take some pictures. It was a blast. But, I had to come home to the horrible news that my sister's boyfriend was killed in an Avalanche snowmobiling yesterday in Island Park. He had only been home from his mission a little over a month. It is hard to think of someone so young and vibrant being taken so suddenly. Saundra, I love you and I am here for you. Our hearts go out to the Jenkins family.

Back to the Grind

A few things today. I know that we hear all about J.J.'s comments but I need to record them or I will forget them. And since he is always saying the cutest things...i just can't resist. He asked me a few days ago why Santa was so smart and knew just what to get him for Christmas this year. I told him that he pays attention to every little thing that he does throughout the year and gets him his presents based on that. J.J.'s comment, "Wow! Santa is AMAZING!" Trevor and I laughed about that for quite a while. We were laughing about it again in bed last night and I said I would have to put that on the blog so I don't forget how cute it was. I love you J.J.! (Ever since we have cut his hair short, all he wants is a Mohawk like the one on Guitar Hero.) Good thing it only stays in his hair for a few minutes before it becomes a little tamer.

I feel bad that I haven't commented about Cate for the last few posts. She is adorable. She is sick right now and it is so sad to see her runny nose and hear her little cough. She is very mobile. She wants to be where her brother is at all times. She does not want to be weaned. We are having a battle. She will not take a bottle. Oh boy.

One of my New Year's Resolutions was to become a Professional Photographer. I have started taking photography classes from Jon Williams, a professional photographer here in Ogden. The first class was last night. Tons of information to start us out. I can't wait until we start applying the knowledge and taking pictures. I think next week I will get to start that. I also signed up for a Photoshop class and the end of the month. Pretty soon I will have all the knowledge I need to become a great Photographer. Now I just need tons of practice. When I am ready for that, I will let you know, and if people want to be my guinea pigs...i will let them.

Lost Pictures

Here is the Lost pictures that everyone has been waiting for!!! I finally got them off my sister's camera. My Sister Saundra and I with Josh Holloway (Sawyer on Lost)! If you can't tell by our goofy looks, we were pretty psyched to get our picture with him. All you Lost fans out there, Enjoy!

Sawyer!!! He's so cute...and he had really soft hands!
The Trailers for the actors. You can't see it, but it says Sawyer and Hurley on the trailer on the right.

The "Other's Village". It is strange to see this place right off the side of the road since it is supposed to be on an Island in the middle of nowhere. The houses are actually a part of a Boys YMCA Camp. Can you see Hurley's van in the background?
Saundra in front of the Village. We got in trouble for taking some pictures. They were actually filming in the village while we were there. We could see them in the background and we heard the director say Cut!. I was told to put my camera away, but I snuck it out for a few pics.

Saundra, here is one just for fun. Thanks so much for the good times in Hawaii! I love you!!!
